Butterfly class have been exploring patterns. The children learned about patterns and which patterns they can continue and remember. Finding and exploring natural patterns around their environment, making and matching patterns, also reading stories, rhyming pattern looking at words with patterns and clap, musical patterns.
What is pattern?
Musical patterns, story patterns, repeating patterns, symmetrical patterns, colour sequencing patterns, number patterns, shape patterns, animal patterns, environmental patterns.
The children have especially enjoyed making symmetrical butterflies which then led to the children making a beautiful mini beast display.
